The Save Our Strand project is an effort to restore a delapidated movie theatre. The theatre was built in 1937 and closed
in the 1970s, which reopened in the 1980s as an adult film theatre and now is closed again. The roof damage, and thus water
damage inside, will make for an expensive rennovation, but would be very integral in revitalizing downtown Enfield, CT.
Below are pictures, past and present, of the Strand Theatre in Enfield, CT.
